Great for those on a budget!

I bought this model recently as a replacement for a failed bagged vacuum. Not only was it inexpensive, as I paid $60 for this model at a local Wal-Mart store, but it was a good value as well. The best part of the whole system is that you are not stuck paying for expensive filters in the future. You can actually wash the filters it comes with, leaving the consumer with no added future expenses! The suction is good. It picks up everything on my carpet, including static-filled pet hair. I wished for a retractable cord, but I almost don't care that it's not an amenity, as the price makes it worth winding up the cord myself each time i use it. As long as you are willing to do the maintenance often (such as cleaning the filters after almost each use) and make sure the roller is free of too much debris, this product is a great deal. I would not recommend it for people who want to just use and use their vacuum without having to ever think about it and then wonder why it stops picking up well. As long as its clean, it works great! I think this is a good deal.
