Great for the first 6 mnths. Not worth the money after that
Pros:
Changeable racks, nice height inside compartment, this doesn't matter if your dishes come out filthy.
Cons:
The machine's ability to get dishes clean gets worse over time.
The Bottom Line:
Maytag no longer lives up to it's name in my opinion. Avoid this machine.

I wish I had come to this sight first but I will admit I was taken by the clearance rack price tag of a whopping $350. I thought "Maytag,Wow " but all we have now are problems.
Installation was tricky to say the least and my husband knows plumbing. We accidentally dented the flimsy front panel, it is now the least of my concerns. It began to wash less well as time went on, so we rinsed better and better. We may as well pre wash everything now that it is a year old!! :( The machine is not as quiet as you'd think, the normal wash cycle takes hours, never mind the automatic setting (you'll never see your dishes again). The control panel has grooves that dirt is attracted to, couldn't Maytag have done a better job designing this, after all doing dishes involves wet sticky fingers? We use cascade but still get food residue all over the dishes especially in the top rack, the pot scrubber takes forever and doesn't appear to do any better. So much for saving money, we pre wash run the dishwasher for 2 hours then scrape off goop and handwash those dishes over again. We really are very disappointed with Maytag quality. I had an old washer and dryer removed months later and I asked the removal/delivery guys what was a good name brand, they said "just stay away from Maytag products, we take out more of those now than anything " What a shame I had already purchased this dishwasher!!!! Maytag no longer lives up to it's name.
