Delicious Cast

I saw this movie at the Drive Inn. I don't think it could have been a more perfect movie for that setting. The special effects were great on the big screen, the costumes were deliciously enticing and the sound was big and loud.

If I were to give one reason to watch the movie and one reason only it would be Poison Ivy played by Uma Thurman. Talk about a hot character. I don't think I remember a more enticing female in any of the Batman movies--including Cat Woman. If you think that's a bold statement than you obviously haven't seen the movie.

Now, Val Kilmer and I will be getting married one day, so I have to say that I preferred him as Batman, but Clooney did a pretty good job too. The addition of many big screen sellers, including Scwartzenegger, add a rich and fun flare to this film.

As for the plot: Was there one? This IS Batman afterall, and all anyone can remember about the original show was all of the KABOOM!'s popping up on the screen every five minutes. Batman has become a parade of big faces in fancy costumes, as it should be. This one completed that cycle nicely.

In normal campy fashion, this addition to the Batman series lived up to its name.
