Avanti Compact Freezer..... Not Recommended

Was I glad to spot this small freezer( at Conn's while purchasing a new Refrigerator.)It was just what I had been looking for and the price seemed lower or in the ball park with what I had already seen. The first thing I noticed was the noise it made while the compressor was running. I called the salesperson and ask if it was normal. I haven't heard any thing yet. The Manual says a little noise is normal. Just a few minutes ago I noticed that it looks as though I will have to defrost it about once a month. It is about a month old and I have already defrosted it once thinking someone had not closed it properly. That is not the case this time. The interesting thing is the Little Freezer is in my kitchen and is not opened very often. In the past I have bought full size freezers and they on the average required Defrosting once a year. Disappointed with the little freezer, you bet. I'm not sure I can justify Defrosting it monthly or even three or four times a year.
Contacting Conn's will be a waste of time. I have never got ANY satisfaction from their service. Avanti Compact Freezer..... Not Recommended
