Wow! The best all purpose German car on the road

The Bottom Line: An A3 with Premium or S-Line Package, Open Sky, Heated Seats, and Bi-Xenons is a great car at the $30k mark.
Review: The car search that led to the purchase of the A3 explains well why this car is the most underrated on the road in the US these days.

2008 A3 is just fantastic

The Bottom Line: I've given several friends test drives and they're all blown away.
Review: I've owned a lot of great cars: a few BMWs, a couple of Mercs and a few Lexus. But my favorites are my 2006 A4 Convertible and my new 2008 A3 2.0T Sportsline. The performance is amazing on winding mountain roads or on open highway. Solid feel. Great...

80% perfect

The Bottom Line: Nearly perfect combination. Suspension could stand to be softened slightly for less busy mannerisms for long distance (150 mile) high speed highway cruising.
Review: Finally, my wife let me drive her new car, a 2008 A3. She's driven Audis since 1990; this is her third one (1990 80, 2000 A4, 2008 A3). My daily driver is a 2002 Mercedes C230K Coupe (stick) and the family toy car is a 1985 Porsche 911.
