Dubious and delusional

Date of Review: Feb 17, 2007

This machine is an enigma. Instructions are brief, yet unique principle of operation and finicky nature make operation very complex (or impossible.. we're still slightly optimistic.) We had high dryer temp problem and yellowing others mention. Replaced broken thermostat to cure. A month or two later no heat, replaced dryer component, fixed it. A month later same thing, same fix. Takes weeks for parts/repair scheduling. Right now stopping on "spin" with very light load (6 pr socks, one pair underwear, hand cycle). Door locked, won't go past spin. It always seems to have some odd problem that defies logical solution. Repair just says "rearrange the load, empty the lint filter" How do you rearrange the load when the door won't open? (Even left overnight.. and sometimes when it will open it drains water onto the floor.) Emptying lint filter also lets small amount of water on the floor, and seldom yields any lint (where does it go?)

Nice idea if it worked. Long warranty.
Cons
Very frustrating, can ruin clothes, frequent service and long repair delays
