Great things about 80 giga-byte Apple iPod include its battery life, great capacity and finally its sleek style and culture appeal. When I first bought an iPod I purchased the clickwheel fourth generation iPod, not for its economical value but its appeal in culture. Since then I have only ammased about one thousand songs in my library, not even close to its five thousand song capacity. However, one may wonder why I would go and buy an eighty giga-byte system? I will tell you one reason why I bought this product, affordability. Nearly three years ago I got my twenty giga-byte system for three hundred. In late May 2007 I got an eighty giga-byte system for only $320(not including NJ sales tax) on sale at Circuit City. Most manufacterers do not even make an eighty giga-byte system, let alone sell it for well under $350. Most likely, I will not use this machine to its full capacity, but hey it was cheap. So now I have not only a video and music player which has essentially no capacity; however, I have a external hard drive that I can use to back up important files or I can use to take excess files off of my filled computer hard drive. On a side note, many claim that the iPod is vulnerable to scratches, which is true. However, just buy a decent case and screen protecter for it if you are already spending over three hundred dollars for the machine itself. Also some say battery life is short. It can last up to twenty four hours! Plus if you charge it every or every other day you should be fine.
