American Baby: Take advantage of the Free subscription

I signed up for a free subscription to American Baby when I was pregnant and its just expiring now. I'll continue to read it for as long as its free.

They also have a very informative website that is useful for a new mom, or for moms-to-be. Also good for Dads too! I have caught my husband looking at the articles when I've put down my copy.

I like reading American Baby for a bunch of reasons. First off, the obvious - i'm a first time Mom, and I have lots of questions. Its amazing the different answers you get when you ask friends, your Mother, your sister, and look in the magazine. I value getting lots of opinions so I can make an educated choice for myself and for my child. Just like reading epinions can help give you lots of choices too!

I've found the articles helpful both during my pregnancy and now - with my infant. You can read articles on a variety of topics, from weight gain and nutrition to circumcision, etc.

Many people have said there are a lot of ads in American Baby. However, I enjoy looking at all the different products available for my child. Reading reviews, safety notices and recalls, etc. There ARE a lot of advertisements, but I think they serve a purpose. And since this is free, its what's keeping the magazine alive.

I do wish there were more coupons in American Baby. The good news is that lately there has been a 15% off diapers coupon for BabieRus in most of the issues. I always use this! There's also usually BabyDepot coupons and some other product coupons (like Mylicon). I wish that there were more manufacturers type coupons and less store coupons however.

Overall, I'm very pleased with receiving American Baby and I look forward to reading each month's issue.
