Sears

I bought this refrigerator from Sears and it was delivered and installed very efficiently. However, it didn't work. After hours on the phone with different Sears repair departments and a very rude individual at One Source (supposedly their customer service group), I had to wait 27 days for a new fridge. The people in the Sears store could not have been more helpful; their service people are the worst I've ever encountered. Finally I was told to write their corporate office with all the details of the wasted food, trips to the supermarket every day, amount of gasoline used and ice bought. I did and received a form letter saying "thank you for sharing your experiences........." etc. and a number to call. After another 36 minutes on the phone to Illinois, I was promised a gift card for $30! I spent close to $200 just replacing the items in my fridge. Now I'm expected to drive 20 miles to my closest Sears store (which does NOT sell groceries, gas or ice!) and use the card. Don't shop at Sears.
