Christmas, Christmas time is here...........so much fun

The Bottom Line: This is a great family movie for the whole family to enjoy!
My family and I went to see this movie in the theatre, now let me explain that my 3 year old does not usually do well in movie theatre but he sat still through this entire movie. The only exception was to the two times where he got up to dance to the music.
We have all seen the cartoon version of these little guys but this movie is just a bit more modern times than the cartoon.
The movie opens with Alvin, Simon and Theadore singing in their tree, which is cut down to put up as a christmas decoration. They literally "fall in" with Dave and raid his house before he knows that they are there. When he realizes that they can sing he writes them a song and presents it to a friend in the music industry. They get stage fright and freeze and get dave fired. Eventually the music guy hears their song and wants to make an album. The bottom line is that Dave is trying to treat them like kids and make them have a bedtime and not eat a ton of junk but the music guy is trying to get them to be "rock stars" and do whatever they want. In the end they "boys" (Alvin, Simon and Theadore) realize that Dave really loved them but then the music guy won't let them leave.....watch the movie to see what happens.
My kids LOVE this movie. They have watched it so many times since we bought it on DVD that they have most of the songs memorized. I have loaned it to several friends who have also loved it. It is a GREAT family movie!
