Rechargeable batteries, heavy, bulky, hiss and interference

Date of Review: Jan 19, 2007

Set them up to listen to the TV, so not really critical audio quality listening, just so I would not disturb the rest of the family. So, nothing here about audio quality. In use, with the base station set about 8 feet away, and no other 900MHz appliances in the house, the interference, hiss and pops, was not bearable. Yes, you could hear the TV audio, but with the constant popping and hiss, it really wears on you. Tried repositioning and changing channels, with no change.

They are quiet heavy and bulky, so don't try to exercise with them on either. I was riding a stationary bike, so not to active, like jogging, but still they will move around on your head.

Cool way to recharge the batteries, not by using cords, but just placing them on the base station.

In the end, took them back to the store and got a cable to run from the TV to a pair of headphones. Yea, there is a cable, but it works with much better clarity.
