Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock for PlayStation 2

I have been listening to the hype of guitar hero for awhile now and never actually broke down and bought any of them until guitar hero III. My son asked for it for christmas, he is 9. I thought, okay, this is something different... it's better than just sitting there playing the same old video games over and over again, why not. I believe I spent about $90 on the game and the wireless guitar controller. It was definitely worth the money. Of course, as soon as humanly possible on christmas day, this present was opened and ready to play! My son enjoyed it and soon beat the game on easy. Now, we're thinking, come on!! That's it??!!? This isn't hard at all.... but then he got to medium and we are having problems beating it!! I have joined in on his mission to beat the setting on medium... who knows what hard and expert will bring!! But I am having the greatest time playing this game a long side of him. We are definitely thinking about getting the 1st and 2nd games now as well... why not right?!? The songs are great, new and old... only thing is some of the content for my 9 year old. But I'm usually there playing along side of him, and he understands what is appropriate and what is not, so I'm not too worried. It is definitely something that I would recommend to anyone who loves to rock!
