Buyers won't be doomed

The Bottom Line: Arguably the best looking and sounding first person shooter games ever. Sure, there are knocks to it, but with modding capability expect those holes to be filled.

A nice tribute to the original, but not earthshaking

Impressive graphics, sound, and environments

The Bottom Line: For darkness and close-quarters fighting, get it. If you like open and expansive environments with sniping, you may want to sleep on it or try a friend's copy first.
