Good system board with a few quirks

The Bottom Line: Enthusiasts who want to build a stable and useful K7 machine will appreciate the layout and features of the AN7.
Review: I've had the Abit AN7 in my new desktop system for about 3 months now, and I think that it's a solid system board for anyone wanting to build an Athlon-based machine.

Essential Specifications:

Full Speed Ahead

The Bottom Line: go for it. Intel stuff is way to expensive for the same speeds or better
Review: Upgrading your machine these days is really getting cheap and easy.

I upgraded my dual PIII 600mhz machine to an AMD 2800+ XP in no time flat, while still leaving room to upgrade at a later date at an even lower cost.

It Is Ok

Review: Difficult to find warranty info on this creature. After 14 months of occasional use my motherboard stopped sending power to the fans. Couldn't flash to see if the problem was software because the the system would shut down after 30 seconds. Jumped...
