I have had the AT&T 9340 900MHz Cordless Phone W/ Caller ID for more than four years now. I have to say it is as good as when I bought it at Ames Department Store. I got it on sale for $100.

. You do have to charge this for 24 hours before use as in most telephones these days.

I have had no interference with this phone at all, I can have the microwave running, My air purifiers and just to test it I put the vacuum cleaner on. No static on the line at all.

It states up to 10 hours of talk. I have gotten at least 13 hours. The battery charges quickly.

THE AT&T 9340 900MHz
Very compact which is a good feature because you can put this anywhere and it does not take up much room at all. You can also put this on the wall as it is a wall mount as well.

The antenna is the rubber that is definitely a plus because some phones have those metal antennas that are not to my liability as they bend and break very easily

The APPEARANCE
Is white with gray buttons and the numbers are black, The channel and volume buttons are white. Very easy to read?

The only things I don't like about this phone the volume and channel are on the handset but if you get the headset which I highly recommend then as this solves the problem.


The phone has caller id/call waiting that is important for me when I look at phones. Headsets compatible, which I bought when I purchased the phone also at Ames.I love that headset just clips the phone on and I can do all my house cleaning. It really is a great thing to have and I would recommend it to anyone who likes to talk and do things around the house as well.

The base unit had two light messenger indicators if a call comes in it lights up. if you are subscribed to the voice mail service thorough your phone company the light blinks until you retrieve the message.

When you put the handset on the base, it lights up for charging.

It does have the page button. Come-on I know everyone out there has used this if you ever owned a cordless phone. I will not get in to how often I have lost it and had to hit that button.

I've had to replace the battery on the AT&T 9340 900MHz
only three times since this is not bad for the time I have owed this the batteries for the phones are about $15.00

caller id feature
The caller id feature on this phone is great. Because unlike many phones out there this one will tell you how often the same person called and give you all the exact times. Most phones with this feature if the same person has called more then once it will only show it once and the time.

distinctive ring
The distinctive ring feature is great because you can set the phone if you only want to talk to the person you just put in the number and it will give a different ring and you do not even to get up to look at the caller id

Only one Problem if your waiting for that special someone to call and they are calling from a different number. You will not know if it is the call for which you were waiting. Overall it is a good feature to have.

Durability
My phone has been dropped on the floor. The battery has come out. I do not know how often. Because of my being a klutz and yet the phone is as good as new. It is definitely durable and there is not one crack on this phone.

OVERALL
I have just compared a new phone out there 2.5MHz that is more than a hundred dollars. The phone picks up every noise the battery lasts maybe four hours you cannot just compare it with the AT&T 9340 900MHz because there is no comparison.
