Product Review

Happy customer

by   kevinw_d ,   Nov 11, 2002

Pros:  Lots of features, easy menus, nice design.

Cons:  Conferencing feature does not work as advertised.

The Bottom Line:  I looked at a lot of systems for a home office and found this one had all the features that I needed at a reasonable price.

Overall Rating: 4/5 stars

Author's Review

There are a lot of phones out there for the home office user, but most of them are pretty clunky, complicated and expensive. The AT&T is well-designed, easy-to-use and good value for the price. Got it from Best Buy on an open box deal so only paid $179, but I would have paid more given the sorry state of the competing phone systems. If there was a feature that I would change, it would be to record the greeting using the handset rather than the speaker phone - it always sounds a bit tinny when recorded through the speaker. Slightly larger print on the controls would be helpful, but folks with 20/20 vision may not have any issues. All in all, a great little system.
