Good product but problem after only 8 months of use.

This small food processor is very efficient. It even does a better job of chopping than my super-sized Cuisinart. However, after only 8 months of use, the bowl developed a crack. When I called customer service, I was told that the warranty only covers the motor. The replacement bowl price is only 8.75 plus shipping, but it seems to me that a crack after only 8 months of use should be covered by the warranty.

I purchased this product because I needed a processor for the small jobs that my super-sized Cuisinart couldn't do well. I like the fact that it is lightweight, easy to clean, and move, and it is lightning fast at most jobs.
