Great Truck with Power to Pull
Pros:
Power, fit and finish, drivetrain, looks, comfort on long trips, room for everyone!
Cons:
The cat-back exhaust and Volant make it louder than I would prefer.
The Bottom Line:
Buy it if you need size, power, tow-rating and room for eight.....if not, don't. It is a great truck and am very pleased with it's performance, design, and comfort.

Author's Review
I have read all the reviews on this SUV. The brakes, the tacky interior, the poor gas mileage, etc. etc were all read and taken into consideration prior to purchase. Though I was hesitant and reluctant to go ahead with the deal, I went through with it since I was able to find a 2005 SE 4wd at $11000 under MSRP new on the lot.
What a great ride! Outstanding performance and ride. I added a Volant cold air intake system and a Magnaflow cat-back exhaust system since I pull an Airstream CCD 25' trailer and needed the extra 40hp.
The drivetrain is perfect. The 5-speed automatic allows for pulling and kickdown to manage any hill when pulling the trailer. I get 18.6 miles per gallon unloaded (other than a family of five) at 75mph. My mpg with the trailer runs 13.2 with the last 900 mile round trip.
I purchased seat covers for the rear seats and husky liners for the floors since the kids have a tendency for muddy shoes and spills. There aren't any rattles, noises, wind, or howling going down the road. You can hear the engine but with nearly 350hp, I would expect to hear it.
If you don't have a need to haul 8 people, tow over 9000lbs, and do it safely and with ease, don't buy this truck. If you complain about the gas mileage or the brakes (which is completely covered by Nissan but a non-issue since July 2005 mfg date) or the noise of the engine, don't buy it. If you do, don't bi#@* about poor gas mileage.....go buy a Prius, make two trips, and wonder if the car is running as you are driving down the road.
