Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 is a follow up simulation game in which one runs a theme park and builds roller coasters and rides. This version isn't that much different from its predecessor. It's exactly the same. Only this time, Six Flags has branded the game with six new scenarios.

The game play is superb. Anyone who loves the original version should have no problem enjoying this installment. Roller Coaster Tycoon is one of the most fun (and addictive) simulation games ever. Needless to say, you'll be playing until 3AM on some occasions.

The game scenarios of this game are individual objectives such as repaying the debt, raising the park value, or having a particular number of guests in the park. There are also scenarios involving real Six Flags parks and trademark rides such as Goliath and Medusa.

The graphics have improved slightly from the original. The picture is clearer and more detailed. However, the problem with RCT2 is that because it doesn't feel any different from the original version, the gamer should think hard before paying full price for this game. On the other hand, fans of the original should be pleased to know that the sequel doesn't deviate from the great game play that the first game offered.
