Ah, another great metroid game
Pros:
Great graphics, sound, and gameplay. Overall, GREAT! More in body.
Cons:
Semi-hard control scheme, very tiring and painful in a long fight. More in body.
The Bottom Line:
This game is great on multiplayer and the whole way around. Find your nearest gamestop and go get this game.

Author's Review
Here we have it, a new metroid game. Sort of :/ . This is a little late, I know, but if you are thinking of getting this game, please read this. Ok, onto the review.
Metroid... a great shooter and adventure game, now brought back to the handheld, and I hope you expected something good.
This game is great, supposedly taking place in-between Metroid Prime and Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. Honestly I don't see how, but that doesn't matter at all.
This is probably the most confusing metroid game, 5 different worlds and 7 different beams, this still can get very confusing. There are many puzzles and many easy ways to kill yourself. Haha.
Combat... Just like any Metroid game, aim and fire away. With 4 different control schemes to play in. You encounter mainly robots, alimbic guards and cannons. You also encounter other hunters, which are listed before entering each world.
The multiplayer is great. There are 3 mode of play: single card multi, multi card multi, and Nintendo Wifi. Single card is just like any other mode, except it forces all the other players that don't have the game to be Samus. Multi is just like any other too. Not much to say about this, but this just makes it so there are more maps and everyone can be any hunter. And Wifi. This can get hard, if you play this, I reccomend, unless playing with a friend, to set the match to "Match my Rank." So you can face others that are of you're skill, or possibly better. This lets you be any hunter and you have, I believe, 26 maps to choose from. The options for multiplayer are the amount of kills you must gain to end a game, the time limit, which will go to 1 HOUR, and to be on a team. Multiplayer is cool to play and I find it slightly more amuzing than the story.
The adventure... Has 5 different worlds, with different hunters in each world. This is the confusing part. Everything is scattered everywhere, LIA Expansions, which expand the 6 other beams, Missile Expansions, which expand the missile launcher with 10 missles, 5 more than previous games, and energy tanks which are the most difficult to find. The worlds seem small at first, but with all of the hidden areas, they get very large. For bosses, they only have 2 different bosses for 4 of the worlds, but I am honestly not sure what the final boss is. The bosses do not really get higher in difficulty, but they do upgrade as you progress. Although they upgrade they don't really get much harder. The hunters are not very hard, as long as you know the beam that is there weakness. The hardest is probably Sylux, since he can regain health by using his Affinity Weapon, the Shock Coil. The game can get hard, but is good.
The controls, as I said in the cons. They are semi-hard. What I mean by this is the controls are sort of hard, it just depends on how long you've played the game. I, find the controls easy, but i've been playing for about 1 year so i'm used to it. But if you happen to just have gotten the game, it may take a few minutes to get used to. That is what I mean by them being "semi-hard."
A long fight, such as wifi or a hunter fight, may sometimes get very tiring, and occasionally quite painful. Being that you are using trigger buttons. But you won't encounter this often unless you play wifi a lot or you like to fight things at quick speeds.
The graphics are definately better than any other game i've played on the Nintendo DS. And I am not joking. I have not yet encountered any DS game with better graphics then Metroid Prime Hunters.
The sound comes out very clear and smooth. Not much else to say about sound...
The gameplay is very fun and addicting. It is very interactive and neat. You will encounter many enemies on your journey to figure out where this telepathic message is coming from. Hidden doors and rooms are scattered everywhere, you just must be the one to find them.
I hope this covers it.
I definately reccomend this game.
