Don-key Kon-ga!

I received this as a birthday present and quickly became addicted. I spent hours trying to perfect certain patterns to win the Gold Rating in all of the songs. I showed it off to everyone who came over, which inspired many of them to run out and purchase the game as well!

Although this game is simple enough that my best friend's 5-year-old can play along, I enjoy it because it uses different skills than many games on the market. I have noticed that this is the only game in which I consistently beat both my boyfriend and my brother, likely due to their lack of rhythm! Instead of enduring their taunts and gestures (as is the case with every other game we play), they were blessed with ongoing torment from me. Revenge can be sooooo sweet!

The only problem I found with this game is that my over-zealous beating of the drums quickly leads to sore palms! To compensate for this, I purchased some thin gloves that still allow for adequate sound production while protecting my hands from the ritualistic beatings they endure as I smack my day away.
