The Sony's DCR-DVD100 DVD camcorder was recently introduced. Advances the simplicity of making and sharing videos, produces DVD recordings that plays back in most current home and PC DVD players. In addition to the incredible compatibility, the DVD camcorder also presents one of the easiest ways to shoot, edit, play and share video memories. You will be able to capture JPEG still images for viewing on either your PC or TV. It can take thousands of still shots at VGA (640 x 480) resolution on a single 3-inch disc.

Seemed great.....for 14 months.....

The Bottom Line: I would not buy this camcorder again because of the high cost and low durability. In retrospect, the media (although very convenient to use and share) is expensive.
