The White Mercedes: A Children's Book?

The Bottom Line: My least favorite of all Philip Pullman's novels, it is still well worth a read.
Review: Have you ever read a book that left you almost afraid to read anything else in the same genre because you just knew you'd be disappointed? You had sampled heaven, and having been there, everything else would seem tawdry and feeble in comparison...

White Mercedes: A Novel for Young Adults that was too mature for 27 year old

The Bottom Line: If you are an adult read it, if you have children read it before you allow them to read it.
Review: Chris Marshall met the girl he was going to kill on a warm night in early June

That is the very first line of a 167 page book in fairly large type with good sized line spacing designed for the younger reader. Total reading time for me...
