Product Description

 
The Forester is available in two models - Forester L and Forester S. After extensive crash testing, the Forester received the highest rating of the vehicles tested in its class. Safety features include a reinforcement frame that improves collision protection from all directions, 5-mph impact-absorbing bumpers and child safety rear door locks. Standard equipment includes cruise control, reclining bucket seats and power windows and door locks. Option equipment includes a keyless entry remote, a four-speed automatic transmission and two Outdoor Packages. Outdoor Package 2 is equipped with a brush guard, a differential protector and a gauge pack. In addition to these options, Outdoor Package 1 also adds a side underguard bar

Best of an SUV and Wagon - Almost - 2000 Subaru Forester

The Bottom Line: The Bottom Line is trying to send power to the wheels that grip from those that slip
Review: Combine an SUV and a car and what do you get? Subaru would hope that you get the Forester, an all-wheel drive (AWD) hybrid that straddles the line between car and SUV and in the end, you get one of the best hybrid SUV/wagons available out there...
