FASA Corporation's cyberpunk role-playing game is the inspiration for this futuristic first-person shooter from the development team behind such titles as MechWarrior, MechAssault, and Crimson Skies. Loosely based on the pen-and-paper RPG, Shadowrun for Xbox 360 and PC takes place in the year 2021, where advanced technology and arcane magic are both used in warfare between the RNA, a ruthless megacorporation, and the Lineage, a resistance force. An offline training mode is included to help players perfect their shooting skills against AI bots, but the heart of the game is its multiplayer component.
