The VSX-55TXi receiver provide a refined multi-channel acoustic calibration system (MCACC) for optimum accuracy in multi-channel sound reproduction. The calibration system works by measuring the acoustic characteristics of the listening area and neutralizing the ambient characteristics that can "color" the original source material.

The Bottom Line: get one,but DO NOT skimp on the speakers like i did(polk system with 250wt sub)..i like that it can be hooked up to the pc
Review: i got this beast more than 1 year ago. i was not a pioneer fan,,but it had what i wanted,and the few reviews out at the time all had very good things to say.so i got one. my old kenwood broke....come to find out,the speaker wire was shorting out,so...
