The 3222.80 men's watch model was created in 1957 “flight-qualified by NASA for all manned space missions” in 1965 tested at zero gravity in magnetic fields under conditions of extreme shocks vibrations and temperatures (-18 to +93 ºC). The Speedmaster Professional 3212.80 mens automatic wristwatch is today a part of the standard EVA (Extra Vehicular Activity) equipment of all astronauts for their walks in space. The Speedmaster 3212.80 men watches made six moon landings with reliable automatic chronograph and was worn by the 1st man to walk on the moon-Neil Armstrong and the last Apollo 17 commander. The Omega Men's Speedmaster Blue Dial Chronograph Watch is a uniquely designed, self-winding chronograph that features chronometer movement with rhodium-plated finish. The dial sports a blue face offset by three blue sub-dials at the 6, 9, and 12 o'clock, luminous hands and hour markers, and a calendar window at the 3 o'clock. The blue bezel sports a white engraved tachometer dial. The watch also features a stainless steel band, and a domed, scratch- resistant sapphire crystal coated on the inside with anti-reflective treatment.
