In 2008's MADAGASCAR: ESCAPE 2 AFRICA, the endearing New York City zoo animals of the original hit movie return for another zany round of CGI adventures abroad. I wasn't a huge fan of the first film, but I thought it was an excellent entertaining movie for children. I felt the same way about the sequel. I feel that the movies are very similar and the second tries to capitalize off of many of the comedy gags that made kids and adults laugh the first time around. Overall, I felt the movie was average...a little better than the first. Pros: All Star Voice Over Cast, Alex Baldwin is a good addition Cons: More original comedy, More comedy geared towards adults
