Disappointment Comes In Big Packages

The Bottom Line: This is a camera designed to be used by amateur photographers but mainly useful to parents who don't want their kids touching their good digital camera.
Review: The Kodak Easyshare Z612 was released within the last week, bringing with it a high 12x zoom and image stabilization (IS) technology. This camera can be summarized with one word: disappointment.

The Bottom Line: Excellent camera and easy to use. It has all the features an enthusiast will need and anyone can produce amazing pics on Auto.

The Kodak Z612 has 6.1 MP, 12x Optical Zoom, and a 2.5 in. display. The functionality and menus are intuitive. The picture quality is phenomenal for a 'point and shoot' camera. The software is buggy for Windows Vista, but Windows Media Player can mimic most of the functions easily.
