The six-member British group the King's Singer's performs their virtuosic a capella music in concert at Cadogan Hall. With talent, charm, and humor, the King's Singer's display their diversity and range, singing songs by everyone from 16th-century composer William Byrd to Duke Ellington, Billy Joel, and the Beatles. The tour de force of the concert arrives at the end when the ensemble tackles "Spem in Alium," Thomas Tallis's magnificent choral work composed for 40 voices. Interspersed with the concert footage, this film shows the six singers solving the puzzle of how to perform this masterpiece of English religious music.
