Holmes gallon humidifier - my two years of experience ....

The Bottom Line: I would recommend this unit as a typically noisy humidifier for home use.
Review: I have now owned this humidifier for two winters. As a Midwest resident, the cold dry weather requires that I run a humidifier to avoid drying out my wood floors and may help avoid dry skin.

Poor performance

Review: Water wouldn't release from tank. Very noisy. Brand new unit and filter monitor indicated it needed a new filter. Housing didn't fit securely on base. Cheap, didn't work, and filters are expensive.
