Review: Sounder never fully worked. By the time we fisnished messing with it the warranty periord was over. Garmin discontinued this model (wonder why) and now they want more money to fix something that never completely worked in the first place. What a...

Review: I bought one of these units (the non color version). I find it very helpful especially when riding my boat at night to have GPS unit. It is easy to mark good fishing spots with this unit. I think the sonar portion is really good as well which helps...

The Bottom Line: Avoid until Garmin solves the shallow depth problems or count on buying another sounder to handle this.
Review: Watching the Bluewater charts integrated with the GPS is nothing short of amazing. From where I launch my boat the channel that I have to run my boat through is unmarked, maybe 40 feet wide at the max and about 1 mile long. Depths can be less than 1...
