The Heron™ has been developed by Datalogic in order to satisfy all requirements at the POS, providing high performance and an innovative design suitable for small retail POS applications. The Heron™, based on the "INSTINCTIVE READING DISTANCE" concept (from near contact to over 20 cm), includes the "green spot" (Datalogic patent application), which provides "good reading" feedback directly on the code, where the user usually tends to be looking.
