It plays back DVD, CD, and MP3-formatted discs for a variety of options. DVD features include multiple angles, multilingual subtitles, parental controls, and slow motion.

Good for Plane Trips, Exercise and More...

Happy Roadtrips with Audiovox

The Bottom Line: This is a superb product. It's simple to use, works very well, and is quite affordable.
Review: I often find myself on long drives with my two boys, ages 8 and 6. Like all young boys they easily grow restless and bored. I decided that the growing popularity of portable DVD players had to have some merit, and went with the Audiovox D1708...

I got a lemon

The Bottom Line: If you get a good one this is a great deal, but don't be surprised if you need to exchange it a few times to get a usable one.
Review: After reading reviews on LOTS of different portable DVD players, I figured out that I probably had a 50-50 chance of getting a lemon no matter which brand I picked. So when I saw the audiovox 1708 on sale at BJs for 159.99, I thought "what a deal"...
