I never received notification that the wine I had ordered was on backorder or was out of stock. I called the merchant 5 (working) days after making the order online to get an update, and was told that the shipment of the wine had just arrived to them, so it should be shipping that same day, and I would receive an email confirmation of shipment. I never received said email, but I did receive the case of wine 4 working days after the phone call, just as I was about to call again to get more information about the shipment. The person to whom I spoke on the phone was very nice, but I didn't receive any follow-up from the merchant, and found that the communication was lacking heartily. I was hoping this was going to go well, since WineRx has the best price per case on the wine I like, but after this experience, I would rather deal with a merchant who can get the orders out on time, or at least provide better communication.

Everything was excellent with one exception. We tried to make the purchase online but it kept declining original credit card, the declining all susequent credit cards. Wrote and e-mail and sent in information, some one called me and using same original credit card sale went through without a hitch. Must be a glitch in online website. Neil J. The ordering was as expected for the internet. However, the shipping cost of approximately $40 was 20% of the cost of the total order so I don't think I saved any money. I would look for a merchant closer to California to get a better shipping cost before I order again. Actually it was a California wine but the seller was in New Jersey.
