Vann's is a #1 company for product knowledge, customer service, very friendly employees, email contacts with all the information a customer would expect, totally professional in that the procedure was a simple 1-2-3, basically. There were no hangups or problems. The transaction went very smoothly and my few questions were answered in a caring, knowledgeable and professional way. This was my first dealing with Vann's, and I will go back to them before going anyplace else. I spent quite a lot of time doing research on the camera I wanted and the prices at various vendors, and then I checked on the ratings of the vendors I was not familiar with. And I kept going back to Vann's. There were three reasons I chose to call Vann's in the first place, other than being impressed with their reviews: a competitive price on the camera I wanted, no sales tax, and no shipping charges. Those last two provide a great savings. Another thing I appreciated was the 800 phone number and the fact that there was hardly any wait on the line for a real person. There are of course many online stores that have an 800 number, but so often the wait time is prohibitive, and when the salesperson finally gets on the phone, the questions I have seem to be a bother to him/her, and the transaction is raced through. That's a very uncomfortable feeling to me. But it is typical. Throughout the process, I felt like I was important to them. That's a special feeling for a customer and will bring him/her back again. That kind of feeling creates a most loyal customer, the dream of every company, I would think. I have no suggestions for ways Vann's could improve because, to me, they were perfect. And I thank them! I highly recommend Vann's to anyone and everyone!
