Was shopping around for Sony receiver and two Sony Blue Ray players.  Searched the Web and have been seeing their site for some time now.  I am having problems with another online retailer that begins with "6".  I decided to try them out for Receiver and one BlueRay player (A bundle Vanns had) and another online retailer for the other BlueRay player.  I plan on making large speaker system order and need about 4 TVs, including a 67" for new home.  The other retailer has great prices on Website and I was leaning towards them.  I placed order on 29 Nov from Vanns and DependableAudioVideo (DAV).  I received emails from both that order was confirmed.  I believe I received email from Vanns on the 1st that stuff would be received 5 Dec.  Not as fast as we thought, but still fairly quickly.  I never received a followup email from DAV and checked their website yesterday.  Order still hasn't shipped.  I asked them in an email to cancel and will followup with them tomorrow.  Why do these places tell you something is in stock when it isn't? I guess they want online orders and are willing to deal with unhappy customers to get them! Bad way of doing business and only users can put them out of business with reviews.

Vann's is how online ordering should be! No problems and fairly quick service.  I will use them for TV purchases when prices are comparable to others and hope things go as well.
