I ordered myself a North Face Denali jacket off EBay. When my oldest saw it, she kept saying, I sure would like a jacket like that. Mmm...I say. I sure would like a jacket like that she says days later- Mmmm..I say. Turns out, they really do NEED a jacket like mine- it's so light but yet so warm, and both my kids hate wearing a bulky coat.
So, off to find them one in their size, which posed a problem- usually I'd find one in one size and not find another, and my oldest had commented she wanted a pink one, so then I couldn't find one like that- but finally, I found 2 in the right colors in sizes at Travel Country.com.
To be honest, I had never heard of Travel Country- I just did a Google search for girls North Face Denali Jacket and it took me straight to the listing on the site. So, it wasn't like I had to wander around looking for it. They had them for the unbeatable price of $69 each, which was the cheapest I had found online and they had both the sizes I needed available.
But now, going back to the website even though I had no trouble with the ordering process, if you just typed in http://www.travelcountry.com/ you would find it a little redundant. For example, when looking at the home page you'll see not one, but three different links that you can use to get to The North Face Denali Jackets. They all take you to the same exact page, so what I don't understand is why they need three different links.
They do have some fabulous prices on stuff, but to be honest their website is so plain and confusing looking you don't really notice the good prices. Also, their inventory seems to fluctuate on what seems to be a daily basis. A few days after getting the two jackets, I went back there again and the inventory was totally different from just days before, not only did they not have the two jackets I had just bought, but other stuff I had looked at was gone too. At least I did get my order and didn't have any problems with it being out of stock, and everything was correct.
As far as checking out goes, it was a pretty simple process, they accept all major credit cards and since I ordered on New Year's Eve it happened so that they did not process my order until after the holiday when they got back to work, but it was not a problem, within a week I had my order and I didn't have any problems with my transaction.
Overall, if you asked me to look at this site and ask would I shop there, I would say no. Even though I did have a smooth transaction this time, it just seems to risky to shop from there again with their ever fluctuating inventory.
