Pros:
Ordering from the website was easy. They accept almost any form of payment including paypal. Carry a wide variety of products, including hard to find items.

Cons: Customer service does not exist! Company never responds to emails. Almost impossible to cancel orders. Poor package tracking. Very slow shipping.

sadly I placed an order on 7-12-07 without researching this company first.waited a week to check shipment status and found order was not shipped. All items showed in stock for dirt devil vac. parts. Sent email inquiry to orders@totalvac.com on 7-22-07 with no response ever received to date. Finally decided to email several of their email addresses including support@totalvac.com, orders@totalvac.com, and service@totalvac.com, to cancel my order on 7-25-07. Service@totalvac.com bounced back as undeliverable. On 7-26-07 I received shipping notification! Their site shows order shipped 7-26-07. We will see what happens next, as I will gladly update. I have since researched this company and found an unsatisfactory BBB record which states:

"Based on BBB files, this company has an unsatisfactory record with the Bureau due to 9 unanswered complaints, an unresolved complaint and a pattern of complaints.

Based on BBB files this company has a pattern of complaints concerning delivery issues. Consumers state that orders are shipped late, incomplete and the wrong items are delivered. Consumers state that they pay for faster shipping but do not receive the order in a timely manner. I would highly recommend avoiding this site! Unfortunately I think this "family owned" business is in over their head.

Update: Package finally received 8-1-07. Order completed.
