I ordered an Xbox 360 20gig with an Open Box condition.
Sadly, only 8 days after getting my Xbox 360 it is already getting a Red Ring of Death. Thus making my Xbox as useful as the box that it came in. I personally find it frustrating that a company would deliver a product that would die so quickly. It is my hope that is company is able to resolve the issue in a timely manor... I will edit this entry once my ticket has been answered (Submitted June 22 ~9:00AM PST) I would suggest users be wary of purchasing from Techforless. |

I bought a refurbished XBOX 360 from this company. They exceeded my expectations. The unit showed up beautifully packaged, and everything appears brand-spankin' new! You can't tell it is refurbished. It exceeded my expectations because they included things I did not expect (free 3 month XBOX Live subscription, headset, all the cables). Great results.

I ordered an APC UPS that was listed as Factory Sealed. I received on in the original box but was clearly previously opened. It was tapped up with some tabs on the outside of the box instead of inside. There was no additional packaging on box to protect the shipment. The box was dented. I was concerned but fortunately the device works. Should have been listed as open box.

Purchasing was fine, the computer I received (twice) was awful. lasting less than a year both time with motherboard failures, they don't stand behind their equipment, don't offer extended warranties, leave you hanging when you call tech services and customer service, hang up on you if call going too long. never again will I shop there.

I would not shop here again. They sent me the wrong computer and
it took numerous phone calls to get them to send the correct one. It took over 3 weeks. They do not answer phone calls or return them. Not a good way to do business. |

Their speed of delivery was pretty fast. Although, I ordered a PC part and they sent the wrong item. Overall I am pretty unsatisfied. I would definitely not recommend anyone to buy from here.

My product was shipped incomplete, with a piece of hardware missing. They offered a credit or a non-matching piece of hardware. I searched and was able to obtain matching hardware from a much more helpful website. I subsequently could not get the PDA to sync with my home computer. I called multiple times to try and get assistance. It took months to get an adequate response and finally a disc shipped to me. Now the PDA still doesnt work and I am told that they 'went the extra mile' all ready. All I want is a functioning product, and the lack of function has been blamed on my lack of technological expertise. I should have bought the PDA new from the manufacturer. Do not waste your time or money with this company or website.

In the last few months I have bought three items from this e-store. Each item was listed as "Open Box", which can be iffy. But to my surprise and complete satisfaction each item ( 2 Linksys repeaters, 1 Sony Bravia 52" LCD ) has been perfect, maybe not the retailers box, but the product has. So to sum it up, I have saved over $1,500, received each item in a week or less, received confirmation of order and tracking in a timely matter and was never pressured to buy any "Upgrades" or "Add-Ons" I will continue to shop at TechforLess in the future.

This store is horrible. I made one barely successful purchase of an AppleCare plan for an iMac (although I'm now checking to make sure). I then purchased a plan for a MacBook (my husbands). They don't answers either of there phone "customer service" numbers and I've yet to receive an email. I guess the old saying "you get what you pay for" definitely applies here.

Bought a "Factory Sealed" TomTom 720 GPS and when it was received it was not factory sealed and did not work! Would never suggest anyone use this service! Watch out.
I returned the item the same day it was received via UPS, it was signed for and received on 7/22 and should have been credited to my account within 3 business days per their web site, by 7/25 but as of 7/27 it still has not been processed. Be wary! |

They allowed someone to purchase a $973.15 laptop computer on my sharecheck card without checking to see if the person was the legitimate holder of the card. In other words, they let someone steal $973.15 out of my checking account. I find this totally irresponsible. The name the person used to purchase the computer was not even my name, nor was the address it was delivered too! They are just as much responsible for this fraud as the user of my card number.

I ordered an "open box" piece of luggage. It said the item was "like new" on their website. However, when the item arrived, it was in horrible condition. The plastic handle was broken with a piece missing off of it. There was supposed to be a 2nd smaller bag inside - this bag was missing altogether. It looked like it had been used about 100 times, was dirty, scratched, had paper stuck in the zipper, etc. I don't even know how they sent this to me thinking I would find it acceptable. When I tried to call them to complain and see how to send it back for a refund, I got a busy signal on their phone number. It has been 4 hours now --STILL busy signal. I DO NOT recommend purchasing from this company.

I read the reviews and got a little worried, but I called customer service and they were excellent. He took my order and helped me with what I was looking for. I placed my order and he emailed me within 10 minutes with my order and his name and information in case there were any problems.
This morning I got my tracking number sent to me from Tech for Less and my camera will be delivered in 2 days. Thank you Tech for Less for your outstanding service. I am not an employee of the company either. |

I WOULD NOT SHOP HERE AGAIN. I repeatedly tried to get a copy of my receipt to have my faulty lap top repaired (within a month of buying it) and no one would even help with such a small task . now it is out of warranty and I am stuck with an unusable machine. and all they can say is too bad we won't help. I have spent over $1000 at this place in 6 months and can't believe how horrible they are. It just sucks the last and most expensive item I bought had to have the problem and not the first (because that would have been the last I did business with them).

Beware!!!! This store charges shipping back if you have to return a product that is not damaged!!!! PLUS a 20% restock fee. They waived my fee but neglected to tell me that I would be charged for return shipping. They even sent out a return RS label from UPS.
I purchased a pelican case which when it showed up at the house was really not big enough for what I needed. When I e-mailed Tech for Less The reply I got was that If I agreed to minus the costs of shipping they would waive the 20% restocking fee. She did not say anything about paying shipping both ways. Besides UPS RS fees are usually taken care of by the person who sends out the label. These guys have a very poor return policy so be careful!! I buy a lot over the internet and this is the first time I lost that much money on a return. I could have shipped a lot cheaper. I will never do business with this store again!!!! |

I ordered a Monster iCarPlay Wireless Plus. Tech for Less sent me a Monster iCarPlay Wireless 200. The Wireless 200 is not even available on techforless.com if you search for it, and despite my repeated emails, the Wireless Plus is still advertised on the site. It took a week of daily emails before someone at Tech for Less finally admitted they do not have the Wireless Plus in stock and it took three tries for them to send me a valid link to a UPS shipping label to return the item I never ordered in the first place.

I ordered and received the M-2020 Microcassette transcriber and it arrived exactly as described - new and very well packaged. The company decided that they would rather use digital so I had to return the item which was less than a week old.
Had no problem receiving an immediate response from Kyle in customer service who authorized the RMA number and because it was less than 30 days old the 20% restocking fee was waived. Unfortunately there was a misunderstanding on MY part. As I no longer had the invoice I thought the item was billed for $170 and the refund reflected was only $80. Upset by thinking I was overcharged on the return postage, I acted hastily and gave a negative feedback. When a copy of the invoice arrived, the item cost me $80 and postage was $7. Kyle's confusion was rightly so, as I had misconstrued his kind offer going above and beyond the 100% guaranteed satisfaction he was able to straighten out MY misinformation. My deepest and sincerest apologies. If in the future our company wanted to order again from Tech 4 Less, we would so long as they accept our order. |
