Although they did correct the issue I will not do business with them again.

I originally posted this on NexTag.com but I could no longer find Tech for Less on their website to update the review.

Their "Open Box" policy says that the product is opened to check the new product for quality and to insure that there are no blemishes, etc. I received my Ipod with plenty of scratches on it so I wanted to return it.
When I emailed them they got right back to me and offered me 3 options. They would refund my money after I returned the Ipod, or give me $30 as a discount, or exchange with no guarantee of finding one in better condition. I didn't like that the exchange would not be guaranteed so I decided to go with the refund. I won't do business with Tech for Less again because of their poor quality control and the no guarantee on exchange.
*Update
After some communication back and forth with the Tech for Less Reps. (and the BBB) they agreed to send me a SEALED iPod which I have since received. They have lived up to their claim of satisfaction guarantee but I must say that even thought I now have an iPod in great condition I still feel that Tech for Less should check on their Quality Control. There were a few things in the sealed iPod that were missing from the iPod I originally purchased. Nothing major but if Im buying a new product I expect everything to be included. What is one hand doing that the other doesn't know about? Where are the missing pieces going?
