This time however, TechOnWeb could have packed the items better. A 100-count spindle of CDs looked pretty well thrashed from shipping due to insufficient packing materials. The Spindle/ container was cracked, although amazingly the CDs were apparently undamaged.

Ordered a 50 Pack of Maxell DVD-R discs and when they arrived the seal had been broken and the discs were strewn all over the box. I returned the discs and the gentleman I spoke to promised me he would send another 50 Pack via 2nd day Fed Ex. Well, that hasn't happened and after he wouldn't return my E-Mails requesting a tracking number, I found out by phoning another C.S. rep that the 2nd shipment was sent via Fed Ex ground. All in all, a horrible experience. No doubt in my mind that the seal was broken on the cakebox PRIOR to shipping.

Printer was in stock as promised and shipped the same day. Good price, easy ordering and confirmation email. Only hitch was that (due to weight) it shipped with a carrier where the "tracking number" did not work using the link provided. But good response to my email by TechOnWeb customer support. Product arrived quickly, in good condition, contained all expected parts and worked out of the box. TechOnWeb was not the ABSOLUTE lowest price, but I chose them based on their reviews. The most difficult problem was finding the toner for the printer on line. The printer itself was easy to find along with some other accessories, but not the toner. I already sent an email to TechOnWeb concerning this. I'll know next time I need toner whether they've addressed the problem.

This is a joke of a store. I ordered an LCD monitor at night using a credit card and everything verified fine. I assumed that everything was fine until I get an email at 5pm the next day saying the card address didn't match one on file. After having them try another address they told me I needed to contact my bank. The one good thing about this retailer was that they cancelled my order quickly. I immediately ordered the same item through tigerdirect using the same card and address and the monitor is being picked in their warehouse only 10 minutes after my order. Bottom line is - yes you can save $20 on larger items shopping at these rinky-dink e-tailers, but is the time and hassle really worth it?

Great prices, excellent customer service and speedy deliveries make this a great place to shop. I had a problem with a return once (the return part was easy) but my credit card was not credited for the return. I called tech-on-web customer service and it was fixed that day. Yes, there was an oversite, but they corrected their honest mistake. They go the extra mile. I once ordered something late in day and the salesperson on the phone said he would do his best to get the merchandise out that day - and he did! Their prices consistently beat buy.com's. There are so many websites out there on the web that many times one is tempted to buy from a bigger more well-know website because they have a solid reputation. All my experiences with Tech-on-Web have been good, they are very service oriented and if you need to call them, they are easy to reach on the phone. Their technically savvy sales staff can even help you with your order if not sure what type of product will suit your needs.
