The shopping was great but I was disappointed in the photo. The colors were not true. I bought this rug because it showed an orange I wanted and when it arrived it wasn't there. But the other colors did go with what I had so I decided to keep it. It does make me hessitant to purchase again if I want to match some colors. I thought maybe I would have to call and get someone to actually tell me what they see, if it's possible.

Having received my rug approx. 2weeks after I ordered it, it came in with what appears to be rope burns from where it was tied closed by the manufacturer. I spoke with customer service regarding this and have not yet heard back from them - if they exchange my rug without any problems I would buy from them again because this was out of their control.

I was super disappointed. There was initial credit card confusion at the beginning of my ordering process -- they sure cleared that up PRONTO. Once cleared, they never placed my order with manufacturer. I learned this on my fourth call to try to track. Then, after they said they'd placed the order, they never bothered to tell me it was on Back Order. There was no excuse for the back order, as they had no problem clearing up my credit card number situation in less than a day. I can only assume that when it comes to them getting your money, they are super efficient. Had they shown such efficiency with my order, this review would not be so negative. I will say, however, that the staff remained polite throughout this odyssey -- albeit clueless and not very helpful. Sad, sad. That rug matched perfectly...

We still have not received all the articles ordered. For some reason they sent the rug pad after the shipped the rug, so it is kind of awkward to have this big rug that we cannot put down until the rug pad gets here. Otherwise, the quality is good, the website makes sense and they got the rug here on time.

The rug was not right for my home and to return it has been a nightmare. I had 10 days (only) from the date I received it to return it. If over the 10 days I would not be refunded my money. The rug was returned in time and my credit card has still not be credited.

It's really taking a long time to get my item, it's been 3 1/2 weeks since I ordered it. I had tried earlier in the year to buy the same rug and ended up cancelling because it took so long, due to backorder according to the customer service rep who hung up on me twice before letting me know this. It's the only place I've found that has this item or I would DEFINATELY go elsewhere.

I think it would have been better if they automatically gave us a UPS tracking number when they e-mail the order confirmation when the product is sent instead of having to call them to follow up. I had to call twice... the first time they told me they didn't have the tracking number yet and the call back the next day. otherwise the service was what I expect and was accecptable.

I ordered 3 rugs but I only received 2. When I called their customer service they said they would check with the manufacturer and call me back but they didn't call back. So I called again and got the same response. Again no call. I also sent them two e-mails. I didn't get a response to them either. I did get two e-mails stating that my order had been fulfilled but neither addressed the issue of the undelivered 3rd rug. I called customer service a third time and she called the manufacturer and put me on hold. When she came back she said that they were out of stock at the time of the order and would now send it on Wednesday (11/19/03) and that she would call me with the tracking number. Thats where I am with this now. I think it is strange that they would bill my credit card when an item is not in stock.

We placed an order for a rug with Rugs USA. Our credit card was charged, and we received an e-mail confirmation stating the rug would be shipped in 1-2 weeks. That time frame came and went, and we began to call Rugs USA for updates on status. Numerous shipping dates were promised and then missed. Never once did Rugs USA make any attempt to contact us to provide us with updated information. Finally, they told us the rug was on back order and would not be available for 12 weeks. At this point, we canceled the sale and asked for a refund. The refund took another two weeks to process. The rug is still available for sale on their web site with no indication it is on back order. I would avoid this merchant like the plague.

Received wrong item. Returning it was not easy. Have not received correct item yet. Have you ever tried to rewrap an 8'x11' area rug and then try to connect with the carrier service. Did not respond to email quickly. Made phone contact for return. Missed initial pickup and had to arrange for a second.
