Rainbow Appliance is wonderful! They really helped me when my old washer needed to be replaced. We had very little time to shop and needed a great deal on a new washer. They found me a NEW washer in my price range was below other stores and had it scheduled for deliver ASAP. I will be calling them again when I need any other appliances. They are so friendly and patient answering any questions I had, they really went out of their way to make the sale happen. You can't go wrong here, A+++

My request for shipment to a different address than my credit card mailing address caused Rainbow to "verify" my credit card. Their procedure did not function as planned- no small $ charge appeared on my AMEX account, but first agent refused to believe it was their problem not mine. I requested supervisor, initially got same "attitude" but eventually he worked with me to solve the issue. This event happened 12/17 - Washer was delivered the next day.

I ordered a GE Over-The-Range 1.7cu. ft. Convection/Microwave oven from Rainbow on the afternoon of Nov 28th and received it at 11:30 this morning the 30th by UPS -- Inspection showed it to be as ordered no problems in this regard -- hopefully its operation will go as well.
Rainbow Appliance handily beat Home Depot's price by a net 10% margin and more than that with the other vendors listed on NexTag. A look at some of the other appliances shown on their website showed similar price benefits. I would readily do business with them in the future. CVB |

Huge selection, authorized dealer for virtually every brand of appliance. Rainbow Appliance just built a huge showroom in new jersey with dozens of hd tvs on display. hope to get an LCD there soon. Just need to convince my wife that we need to upgrade our tv.
After dealing with rainbow appliance, i will never go to sears or home depot for my appliances. When you buy from an independent store, you get better prices, respect and courtesy from people that value your business and are looking to start a relationship with you. They care about you as a customer and work hard to earn your trust. Why pay hundreds more at the home centers? Delivery is quick and prompt from people that care. When you shop at an independent authorized dealer like rainbow appliance you are dealing wuth owners. |

After finding Rainbow Appliance on line I had a couple of questions about the product I was interested in. They answered the phone promptly, the customer service person knew the product well, was personable and willing to take the time to answer all of my questions. I ended up ordering during that conversation. The only problem so far was the email address I gave was written down wrong and I had to call back in order to receive my order confirmation. This second call was just as friendly and personable as the first. If the remaining transaction is as good as it appears, I would be very happy to recommend them to my friends.

Well, its been 2 1/2 months & the junk washer is still here. I did a dispute with my credit card comp & they awarded it to Rainbow. BUT WAIT..RAINBOW FORGES DOCUMENTS. When your items delivered the driver gives you a basic paper with their comp name on it. Sign anywhere.It says nothing of importance. Rainbow sends a copy to my CC comp saying I signed a page stating everything was fine when delivered. I didn't sign it. Somehow they shrunk my signature from the original delivery paper & put it on to their form, then stamped that info around it. I never saw this invoice in my life. Eli Klein is sending me very insulting,childish emails.People look at your form then ask for a copy of the 1 they have. I bet it doesn't match. Check NJBBB, they have 36 complaints against them in 3 yrs. Start adding yours. Call the At, General & The FTC. Lets all get together with 1 lawyer & sue them to put them out of business. DON'T USE THESE GUYS! You can save your self a lot of headache and pain. Don't let the low prices draw you in. We had 2 months worth of phone calls and emails not returned. They shipped our microwave in an unmarked box that was severely damaged in shipping process. We returned the 1st one, only to have a repeat performance on the second one. The worst internet purchase experience I have ever had. Please learn from my mistake.

I ordered a downdraft blower and fan from Rainbow appliance. The blower arrived in a crushed box and was badly damaged. It was returned to Rainbow Appliance and they have refused to send another one or refund my money.
DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. YOU'LL BE SORRY! Addendum (12/2/07): Rainbow Appliance asked me to update this. I did get my money back, but Rainbow Appliance never voluntarily gave back the money. I filed a complaint with my credit card company who refunded the money. I did this after calling Rainbow Appliance at least five times. Each time I was told a supervisor would need to address the refund. They never did. I gave them ten days then filed the complaint. You'd be nuts to buy from them. |

They are more than willing to charge your credit card...but having them ship the product to you is another story. I waited 40 days..only to to call them once again, (because they don't respond to email nor call you) that it would be "another week". How many times can you hear..one more week. I cancelled the order all together and won't do business here again.

After much research, I placed on online order for a front-loading washer. After not receiving any delivery information from them, I emailed and left a detailed phone message asking them to follow up on my order number. I still did not hear from them. After seventeen days, I finally was able to speak to customer service on the phone. They were nonchalant about the order, and said "it looks like they've ordered this unit.." I told them I wanted to cancel and the man abrubtly said "ok" and then just hung up. I would not recommend them to anyone.
