BEWARE of their White Glove FREE shipping.

I ordered a large entertainment unit. It was delivered and set-up (packing material was destroyed and removed) – but it was not the color shown on the website. (It was also missing a bracket, and a part of the bridge did not fit right.) It was not suitable. They said to return it "in the original packaging" and they would charge me their shipping, plus a restocking fee. Impossible, since the original packaging was of course what they destroyed and removed.

Of the $2450, they said they would credit $1650, and I pay to return it. If it is not in the original packaging, they plan to charge extra for that. I paid a shipper over $1200 to return the unit.

Under "Return Policy", they say that you can buy shipping insurance at the time of purchase, but this was NEVER MENTIONED OR OFFERED AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE.

The entertainment unit was not what I ordered. They should have accepted responsibility for its return, instead of screwing the customer.

Racksandstands is part of a huge company, CSN, with over 150 stores on the Internet. Shipping policy at their other stores will be the same. BEWARE!!

Of course I will never order anything from them again, and I will pay attention and never order anything from any other store which is part of CSN.
