Being the rugged, outdoorsey, type of guy, I love stores like L.L. Bean. Being a single dad, I like the convenience of shopping online. llbean.com has combined these two things for a great shopping experience.

llbean.com is very similar to shopping in an L.L. Bean catalogue. The merchandise is the same. Shipping and payment are very similar.

When you log onto the site, it is very easy to navigate. The tabs at the top at self explanatory. There is Shopping, Explore Outdoors, Customer Service, and My Account.

Simply click on Shopping, and you are on your way.

I have not checked out a whole lot of their merchandise. I stay pretty much in Mens, Children's, Clearance, and Luggage and Travel. I especially love the items in Luggage and Travel. You can find any kind of bag you will ever need there.

Shopping on the site is easy. Just put items in your cart, and check out. Checking out was easy the first time, now I just have all my info stored in my account so it comes up automatically.

Payment methods include all the usual charge cards, along with an L.L.Bean Visa, JCB, and Eurocard. There are extra perks for using their Visa such as extra discounts, free monogramming, and free shipping. I don't have the card so I can't give any commentary on that.

Returning or exchanging is easy also, just follow the instructions on the packing label. Sending the items back has never been a problem, and is always handled in a timely fashion.
