When I first moved to this city and asked my friends for suggestions for shopping, one name that I heard more often than not was Kohls. There are a couple of Kohls stores nearby and I started shopping in their stores regularly. As much as I liked their collection, I was disappointed by their organization. Be it the home section or their apparel section, I found it to be a little too cluttered, especially if they have some great sale going on.

One evening I received an email from them saying that they had 99 cents shipping and I was tempted to try their online shopping. It was really easy navigating through their site and I could find some real good deals online. They have a wide choice of clothes for all sizes - petite, tall (usual size), maternity, plus (16W - 20W). Sometimes you find that the items you find in stores are not available online. But it is true the other way round too. So it is a compromise you need to make either way.

I found their Tops particularly good. I bought a couple of their "Sonoma" and "Croft & Barrow" brands. I was not disappointed when I received them. They looked the same as they did on their website. Online shopping could be tricky and I have had some bad experiences before. But Kohls was good.

This is a complete family store especially if you are looking at buying clothes. They sell stuff for men, women, girls, boys and toddlers. Be it casual wear (capris, pants, tops, shorts) or office wear (formals, shirts) or sleepwear, you will find it here for all sizes. They also sell shoes, jewellery, handbags and other accessories.

Kohls is a good stop for home accents too. From wall hangings to frames, you have a lot to choose from.

Be it their clothes or home stuff (like bathroom mats), they remain good even after a couple of washes. But you should take care not to put the light stuff with the heavy load stuff.

They accept all major credit cards. It is an advantage to have a Kohls credit card as you will find special offers for Kohls credit card holders often (like an extra 10% off). When I called their customer service to check on my order status, I found the representative to be very friendly. Their shipping was on time. Returns are also easy at Kohls. You could return the item bought online either at one of their stores or through mail.

Overall, I had a pleasant experience with them.
