my experience was so bad that i actually feel sorry for kmart because they are so pathetic. this was the first time i bought anything from kmart on-line and they were offering free shipping with $30 purchase. i bought some martha bed pillows, bathroom towels, a knife, and some christmas stuff. a week after i placed the order i got an email saying that two of the towels and the knife were no longer available. i had to email them just to find out how they were going to return my money and they said it would be refunded in a couple weeks. then i start getting the stuff they did have (poorly wrapped by the way). the soap dispersor was broken in two places. the really sad part is that the broken pieces weren't in the box which means they shipped it that way from the warehouse. it's not even worth the money to argue for my money back. i will count this as lesson learned and i'll never do business with them again.

Never again will I shop Kmart online. I ordered an item that clearly stated in the online description that it could be returned in the store. It even said so on my printed receipt. I ordered the item, which was supposed to have free shipping, only to find that I had indeed been charged $12.00 for shipping. Unfortunately when I attempted to return the item to the store I was told that this was not possible because it was a "direct from manufacturer" item and was not stocked in the store. I called Kmart "Customer Service" and they said that I had already been credited back for the shipping charge and they apologized but the item I ordered had to be shipped back to them via UPS. They said UPS was going to contact me for pickup. As of yet I have still NOT been credited back for the shipping charge, nor have they contacted me for a UPS pickup.

If you are going to offer online shopping. I would think that you would keep items on the website in stock. I can understand clearance items being out of stock. But it's everything I look at.
I don't understand why the actual stores have racks and racks of clothing on clearance because nothing sells but if you try to buy clothes online that are not on clearance they are out of stock. In stores empty shelves means lost sales the same goes for online. If Kmart goes under they've got noone to blame for poor sales but themselves. |

I order a pearl necklace and Flight Simulator 2002 from Kmart the day after thanksgiving on their specials. I thought that the necklace would be a nice gift for my daughter. I added a tool for me to meet the free freight so now I had 3 items coming. They shipped the tool and nothing else and charged freight. I called on Dec 1 and was told I would be credited the freight and I would get the other items before Christmas. I did not get any thing by DEC 24 and I emailed them. nothing. Jan 5 I emailed them nothing. Jan 7 I called and was told no I was not going to get anything else. They just didn't carry them any more and to bad for me.
They did say they would credit the freight again but we shall see. |

I never did receive my order. After about 5 phone calls to them and 3 bad UPS tracking numbers, being told it had shipped, and then reshipped, they finally being told my order was cancelled and that they would return my money in a couple of weeks, they said it takes time to return the money! It also took them almost 6 weeks to tell me they were not filling my order, not even part of it. There are better places to shop on the net!!

I have ordered a table online on November 12th 2007. The table arrived damaged on November 29th. I decided to return it and they waited until the 21st of January to pick up the table. Now, on the 11th of February, 3 weeks later, I am still waiting for my refund. I will never buy again at any kmart, online or not.

Online Order for cabinets, showed them In Stock. Order Confirmation showed shipping date 5 days hence, with a shipping e-mail notice to be sent.
Day before shipping date, no e-mail received. Customer service on-line replied that items to be shipped in 16 days. Cancelled Order.....customer service replied that they COULD NOT CANCEL ORDER, once it's In Process. The only way to get a refund would be to decline delivery (meet the man at the door on some unknown date). I notified my credit card to dispute any charges from K-Mart for Fraud and Misrepresentation and notified the FTC and BBB On-Line |

I purchased a 14K gold chain in September 2006 and also purchased the Kmart warranty for two years. I was told at the time of purchase that all I had to do was bring the chain back if it was broken. Well, wouldn't you know, just one day before I wanted to wear it on New Years Eve, it broke. I took it back to Kmart but was told I had to call the number that was on my plan because Kmart couldn't do anything to replace it at that time. Well, I immediately called the phone number, answered many questions, then the person on the phone told me I had to wait 24 hours until I received an email from them to show me how to return the chain back to them for repairs. I was also advised to pay for shipping with a signature receipt from Kmart(which will cost me a lot more to mail). It is now Jan 2, and I have not received this so-called email. What kind of service is this?

28 days for shipping. They use a 3rd party who has no tracking system at all. It's a complete crap shoot and inquiries regarding the status of your order are responded to with a "You chose the cheap shipping option - it'll get there when it gets there" approach. Buyers beware - this is not your "UPS Ground" approach to ground shipping. Also - if you happen to be a rural route customer you know that third party shippers use the postal service for the last leg - which means a "come and get your package" approach to the delivery as opposed to UPS or FEDEX to your door delivery.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER ! ! I placed an order on 12-11-05 well before the christmas delevery date cutoff.I'm still waiting for it, have contacted them viva e-mails 3 times and telephone 3 times. All contacts have proved to be useless. They keep telling(lieing to) me that the item is in stock in their warehouse and should have shipped. I ask to cancel the order and was first told i could not.Then after asking to talk to a manager on the last telephone call was told i could cancel and should recieve a confirmation e-mail within 48 hours. STILL WAITING FOR THAT ONE ALSO. Web site STILL shows my order as being processed. BY FAR THIS IS THE WORST online expearience i have ever had. Take my advice STAY AWAY ! ! !

I just received my kmart.com order. One word: HORRIBLE!!!
I ordered a full and a twin pine headboard. I specified a color called Cheyenne--which looks black online. The headboard that I received, just one of them, is bright red. Besides the wrong color, they forgot my order, after they called me at home to confirm that I actually ordered them. Then the tracking number was wrong when they finally shipped it 2 weeks later. From the invoice, it looked like they shipped it the day I emailed asking them for the tracking number. I called and emailed asking for the right tracking number and requested that if it still hasn't been sent that I would pay for express shipping to get it to me by xmas. No reply by email or phone call. Only one headboard that is red instead of black. Oh, by the way, did I mention rude customer service rep on the phone. |

When returning an item at the service desk the cashier was rude and left the desk before finishing my transaction. It would be nice if the cashier would be at least polite or friendly to the shopper. Walking away from the desk to remove an empty bag that I placed in a shopping cart (with other empty bags and circulars) while I am waiting to be waited on is rude to me. She should have asked me if I wanted her to throw it away since there was no garbage can on my side of the desk. Her name on her badge was Brittany and the store number was 3941 in Russell Springs,KY I like shopping there but I don't like rude clerks. It could cause people to go else where for their shopping needs. This is not the first encounter with this impolite clerk.

Since it was not expensive, I didn't keep the receipt. When I tried to exchange (not refund) it, they refused since they said I couldn't prove I paid for it. Guess they are calling me a thief. I had never ordered from Kmart.com before, but found that they had an unbeatable deal on a baby crib I liked. First the good points: I got an amazing price (they were having a sale, on top of a price that was already the lowest anywhere), shipping was very fast, order tracking was effortless, and the product was in good condition when it arrived.
The only negative thing about my experience was that I accidentally ordered 2 of these items (my web browser is very old and told me that the first transaction did not go through -- which it did). I can get a refund, but not including shipping price. While it's not completely Kmart.com's fault, if I had received email confirmation soon after ordering, I would not have made this mistake. As it is, you can expect to receive confirmation a full 24 to 48 hours after placing your order. I would recommend Kmart.com improve the speed of their email notifications. Also, it would be great if they had a more gracious return policy, that included original and/or return shipping. But overall, I am happy with their performance and would order from them again. |

I had a horrible experience at this online store. They incorrectly labeled the price of a dining set on their web site. Then they shipped the wrong item. Then after I contacted them and provided proof of the mistake with my printed receipt they refused to credit my account for the full amount including shipping. Their customer service department is unfriendly and unhelpful to say the least! Never shop at kmart.com!

Website was pretty easy to navigate. I do have a few complaints though. I ordered a Spartan FS 101 Scooter. This was a birthday present for my 12 year old son. When we took it out of the box everything looked ok. We followed the instructions and charged the battery as instructed. The next day my son proudly hopped on his new scooter and rode it for the first time. Within 30 seconds the wheels fell off and the handle bars came apart. Luckily I made him wear a helmet otherwise he would probably been badly hurt as the fuse some how popped out and he flew head first into the ground hitting the fuse (helmet first) causing the fuse to shatter into pieces. When I called to get replacement parts they told me it'd be 3 weeks. I've been waiting abotu a year now for a new tire. I will keep my hopes up though.

HOLY COW!!! The shipping is outrageous!!! I wanted to buy a bean bag for my 2 kids and went to order and noticed that the shipping was more that what the bean bag was worth. They wanted $34.99 for the bean bag shipping was $36.99. Hmmmm I think I will take my business else where. That is soooooo crazy!!!I even called and talked to a k-mart.com service representative because I thought that could not be right and shockingly it was... he even said they have had a lot of complaints. If K.mart.com knew what was right for them and the future of their business they should seriously change their S&H rates or they are smoking something I guess they are trying to make up for lost money from all the stores they had to shut down and figured that they can charge up the wazoo for S&H and people wouldn't notice or wouldn't care. I noticed it and I think others have to from reading the reviews on K.mart.com. I would not buy from K.mart.com until they take their heads out of their butts and change the S&H rates.
