The sales representative was very helpful. He listened to my requirements and needs, did not cut me short, and gave me helpful recommendations. Most importantly, the sales representative was not pushy and was very prompt. As promised, I got my product within 3 days of ordering.

The price match policy though was very limited in terms what J&R could do, so I ended up buying my Nikon D40 kit somewhere else. This was too bad because I was really happy with my sales rep that I would have wanted to give J&R the business.

Specials in synch with other similar companies in order to be more competitve, and to make price matching as an effective sales pitch, would really be a great idea. Ritz and Adorama had a "father's day" special on th D40 and my sales rep tried but couldn't come close to the deals from these 2 other companies.

I am glad that I was offered the 3 year complete protection plan. The sales rep explained the beauty of the plan so well to me that I didn't have a doubt that it was $70 well spent with this investment purchase.
