The usual problem.....I do not receive the goods as promised. No notice of delay. I call and get put on hold over 15 minutes, then disconnected. Call again, item will not ship for another 5-7 days. This is over 3 weeks from date of order. Never would shop there again nor recommend Instawares.Com.

I had an excellent shopping experience with Instawares and would use them again if I needed to. I ordered the Rubbermaid Sturdy Chair Youth Seat and tray. I placed the order late on a Monday, received a shipping confirmation for the tray the very next day and received the tray on a Wednesday. I received a shipping notification for the chair on Wednesday and received it on Friday. I received both products 3 days before the date stated when I ordered.
I did use the live chat customer service to inquire about the status of the chair after I received the tray but no chair. The customer service rep I chatted with (online) said she would get back to me about the status and never did. But, I received the shipping notification from Instawares the next day. |

What can I say but stay away from Instawares . They processed the company Credit card charged 15.95 of an under one pound order that was never shipped. Apparently the item was never in stock but they never told me until we called three weeks latter to check why our order never arrived.
Their business practices are not creditable on the internet. |

I would never recommend anyone shop here online. I ordered a cheese dispenser. They took the money out of my account instantly. When the product never arrived, I called to find out what was going on. First I was told it shipped so I waited another week. Then I was told it was on backorder for another 3 weeks. I requested a refund. I have had to email them at least 3 times on the refund. That was 4 weeks ago. I'm still waiting.

I ordered 3 waste receptacles on-line. It was supposed to be instock. They charged my card right away. 3 weeks went by and nothing showed up. I called Instawares and was told that it would be there by Friday. One week later I called again and was told the same story. Wait till Friday. I asked for my order to be canceled and they said that they could not do that as it was already shipped. Another week went by and then another. Two months later, my order still had not shown up. I called my credit card company and challenged the charge on my account. I was not surprised to read similar reviews. I just wished, I had read them sooner.

First they charge you at the time of the order, that tells you right there they have no reason to ship anything in a timely fashion. They say it's in stock...but where? At the manufacturer...in China. I ordered Libby plates in early December, their policy says if not able to ship in two days you will be notified...lies. Christmas came and went...spent two weeks in January trying to get a response from them...finally they said they didn't have them and didn't know when they would. I canceled the order and was told they would charge back the credit card. When I received my statement there was nothing on it! more lies! I was then told it takes 2-3 billing cycles for it to show up! More lies!!! June I contact them again and I get a hang up! Call back again and now they have to cut a check! 20 days and no check! More lies! |

I ordered an item to be shipped 2nd day on 9/30. They managed to charge me card right away; it posted on 10/1. However their order status on the website still lists no ship date, no tracking number, and they have not responded to several emails. I would never have ordered from them had I read all the negative reviews here beforehand.

After several attempts, many emails, several phone calls and many promises to give our money back we have yet to receive a dime of credit on products they didn't even have. No integrity or respsonsibitly to their consumer. The expedited shipping takes longer then regular and they charge you double. Do NOT take a chance with this company

I have never had such a horrible shopping experience as I have had with this company. I ordered a solid granite table top from Instawares the beginning of August 2005. I finally received it on 9/06/2005 and it was severely broken in shipping. It also was seamed right down the middle; a detail left off in the product description and picture. I refused the order from the shipper. Instawares has had the item for over three weeks now (I have a PRO# and signature receipt to prove it). I still cannot get an answer as to when I will be credited the $450 I paid for this item. I have called, emailed etc and no one will give me an answer or if they do it varies with who you talk to. I am so fed up with this company I contacted my credit card company and disputed the charges. I plan on filing a complaint with the BBB if it is possible. This company has poor customer service and I do not recommend ordering anything from them.

I ordered two items listed as 'in stock' only to find out a week later that they were out of stock and would ship in 7-10 days. Ten days goes by, then two weeks, then a month, then six weeks. Still no product. All my emails are answered with the same line, "your items are due any day and will ship immediatly". Yeah, right! At this point I say forget it and request a refund. This took three emails before the rep finally said I would be refunded. That was two weeks ago and I'm still waiting to see the credit appear.

This is just to warn people from buying from Instawares.com, at least based on my experience. I'm not telling people to not buy form this place, but if the company messes up on your order, be prepared to deal with a lot of hassle to replace/re-deliver the correct order. They had mailed me the wrong product; they sent me ROUND tablecloths instead of the SQUARE one that I had ordered. It took me 3 weeks to finally get my replacement sent and multiple phone calls to their customer service, all of which required a least a 15-20 minutes wait before speaking to someone. Had I not been diligent in following up on the status of my order, they would have never sent out my correct order. Plus when I finally received the 84" x84" square tablecloths, the tablecloths were not made of one piece of cloth. They were 3 pieces of cloth(one large, 2 small) sewed together to make one piece of tablecloth....very tacky looking. I will definitely not buy from them again. Of all my many web purchases, this has been my worst experience in terms of the merchant and the quality of product received.

The best way to describe doing business with this company is SLOW and CUMBERSOME. From waiting for goods to arrive, to the phone and email ques, to the return and credit processes. I order online alot; this was, by far, the worst experience ever.

I ordered three items on 7-23-05, received one product in a package 8-1-05. Wrong address on package and shipper corrected. Second package was returned to shipper because they didn't correct the address error. They want to charge me again for S/H because they didn't correct the error, use my phone or e-mail information to confirm correct address. Waited 38 minutes on hold to inquire about shipment and they were completely useless. I do not recommend them or their products. Shipping and handling charges are outrageous to begin with and I have no intention to pay twice. The one product I did receive wasn't as nice as the description either.

This is a very non responive company that I had deal with before. It was a double shipment. Call customer serives rep, they do not return call and email! Left voice mail to customer service manager, do not return phone call also. I need to keep calling the customer servier rep and get her on the phone. I had request call tag for product to send back, she said she need to get supervisor approval. So, waiting for her call back or email. No response for ONE WEEK. Call her again, then call tag was issue. She even mention, if Ups did not pick up the item, I can discard the product because they only charge once. WHICH IS NOT TRUTH. Verify credit card statement show 2 charges later. Left message and email check status on return with the same rep, no response as usual. I had hold for ONE HOUR 30 MIN for another customer service today already. I will have to call them again tomorrow. Waste of time. I would NOT do business with this company again.

Given the reviews on this site, I expected dealing with Instawares to be about the same as one of those 5th Avenue camera stores where you ask "if the camera has a US Warranty" and their response is "of course you want our deluxe accessory kit, a $1500 value for only $200." Etc.
Now it is true that my order took a number of phone calls, that an order placed on the 18th of March took until the 11th of April to get here but my card was immediately charged, according to them, two models of the microwave were definitely in stock in the warehouse - unfortunately they did not mention it was their distributors warehouse and a convenient lapse of memory about the free shipping which I had to correct, etc. But they were not larcenous, just totally ignorant of any level of customer service whatsoever. They were also blissfully unaware of the reviews on this site which I suggested they read. So I got what I wanted at a great price. And given that I had the time and patience and they had the product I wanted I would do business with them again |

I just ordered and received a chair from Instawares.
Their price seemed to be the lowest and this review board showed mostly positive reviews. Everything went very quickly and I got what I ordered in less than 72 hours - even while paying for UPS Standard Ground. The only (small) problem was that the UPS tracking number was not listed promptly on line by Instawares. (Eventually the tracking number was listed on line but this was 4 hours after the delivery occurred.) When I called Instawares prior to delivery, Chester was very nice and needed only about 10 minutes to call me back with the tracking number. I was pleased to learn that the shipment was scheduled to arrive that same day - which it did. Please list me as a happy first-time Instawares customer and that I am happy to recommend my experience. |

The order took about a week longer than I expected. They said the item ships in 5-10 days and it took about 15. There was a small tear in the wood on the butcherblock top. I wasn't able to track my order online. I was however able to call Instawares and they gave me the expected delivery date which was correct.
